Alfred Wayne Christiansen, age 61, of Vinemont, Alabama passed away on Friday, Sep. 22, 2023. Alfred was born in Birmingham, Alabama to Alfred George and Doris “Dot” Grubbs Christiansen.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Alfred George Christiansen; grandparents, Otto and Mary Christiansen and Pauline Grubbs; uncles Harry Christiansen and T L Christiansen.
A visitation for Alfred will be held Monday, Sep. 25, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Avenue NW, Cullman, AL 35055. A lie in state will occur Tuesday, Sep. 26, 2023 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 424 2nd Avenue SE, Cullman, AL 35055.
A celebration of life funeral service will occur Tuesday, Sep. 26, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 424 2nd Avenue SE, Cullman, AL 35055. An interment will occur Tuesday, Sep. 26, 2023 at Cullman Memory Gardens, 1516 Bolte Rd. SE, Cullman, AL 35055. Rev. Donald Strandlund and Rev. Donald Simmons will officiate.
Survivors are his mother, Doris “Dot” Christiansen; son, Joey Christiansen; sister, Deborah Christiansen (Jeff) Veres; one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter; nephews, Jason (Tanya) Veres, Joshua (Neeley) Veres; niece, Katie Veres (Hutch) Sutter; and a host of great-nieces and nephews.
