CULLMAN, Ala. – On Wednesday, Sept.13, the Cullman Association of Realtors (CAR) hosted a luncheon at Stone Bridge Farms, where it presented checks totaling $73,000 to seven local charities. The money was raised during a recent fundraising event.

According to CAR Auction Committee Chair Rita Fromhold, in August, CAR and its affiliates hosted an event that not only brought the community together but also made a significant impact on the lives of those in need. Monica Williams is also an auction committee chair.

“The August event was held at the Cotton Creek Warehouse venue. The 2023 CAR Annual Charity Auction was a resounding success, raising a staggering $73,000 for various local charities,” Fromhold said. “This generous contribution benefited organizations such as Brooks’ Place, Cullman Victim Services, The Link of Cullman County, Flourish of Cullman, Pilot Light Home, The Bridge and Secret Meals for Hungry (Children). We are so thankful for the heartwarming event and want to express our gratitude to the sponsors who made it all possible.”

Checks were presented on Wednesday to The Bridge, Flourish of Cullman, Secret Meals for Hungry Children, Pilot Light House, Victim Services of Cullman, Brooks’ Place and The Link of Cullman County.
