Mildred Athlee Baker Sandlin, age 97, of Bremen, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, Sep. 12, 2023. Mildred was born in Cullman, Alabama on March 8, 1926 to Erie and Agnes Wilson Baker. She is preceded in death by: husband: Calvin “Shulus” Sandlin, son: Greg Sandlin, parents, brothers: Howard “Buddy” Baker, Harold Baker, sisters: Imogene Baker McClendon, Ruth Baker Moon and Marcele Baker Ginn.
A visitation for Mildred will be held Saturday, Sep. 16, 2023 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Avenue NW, Cullman, AL 35055. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will occur Saturday, Sep. 16, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel, 1901 2nd Avenue NW, Cullman, AL 35055. An interment will occur Saturday, Sep.16, 2023 at Addington Chapel Methodist Cemetery, Bremen, AL 35033.
Survivors are: son: Ronnie (Marie) Sandlin, daughter: Jan (Robert) Williams, brother:Donald Baker and a sister: Mary Ellen Baker Hutchinson, grandchildren: Brandon (Pam) Williams, Brett (Kaci) Williams, Matt (Stephanie) Sandlin, Jeff (Jenny) Sandlin, Alicia (Lance) Shuford and Ashia (Kevin) O’Neil, great-grandchildren: Emily and Seth Williams, Brodi, Joci and Joli Williams, Lathan Shuford, Eli and Ethan Sandlin and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
