CULLMAN, Ala. – Woody, an approximately 5-year-old male German Shepherd with a caramel and ebony coat, is available for adoption at Cullman County Animal Shelter.
Woody’s large frame and multiple scars certainly tell a story, but despite his striking appearance, he is truly a gentle giant who is hoping the storms he has weathered in life are finally behind him. He has a low-to-medium energy level and enjoys the quiet comfort of his human companions at the shelter.
Woody understands leash protocol and is happy to take a dip in the kiddie pool to get some relief from the heat. While Woody has come out as the victor in all of life’s challenges, he is struggling with shelter life and deserves a comfortable home. His quiet and gentle nature makes him a prime candidate for a therapy or companion dog!
Ready to have a friend in Woody? Head over to Cullman County Animal Shelter at 935 Convent Road NE, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for a meet and greet.
His adoption fee includes neuter, DHLPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccines, rabies vaccine, wormer, general exam at the vet and microchip.
