Maxwell Waylan Ratcliff, 24, passed away Sept. 2, 2023. He was born Feb. 21, 1999 as the Beloved son of Johnathan and Andrea Ratcliff; Adored brother to Mallory Ratcliff Randolph (Ty) and Memphis Ratcliff; Doting uncle to Remy, Rudd, and Renfri; Boyfriend/Fiancé for 8 years to the love of his life, Cassidy Wright; Grandson to Margaret Twilley Pate and the late Harold T. Pate, Sr. of Twilley Town, AL.; Grandson to Wade and Becky Sperling Ratcliff of Sumiton, AL.; Nephew to Karla Ratcliff Nelson of Sumiton, AL. and Harold T. Pate, Jr. of Twilley Town, AL., cousin to Kirklan Nelson of Cordova, AL. and a multitude of other family and friends.
Maxwell graduated from Good Hope High School/Wallace State Fast Track for Industry program in 2018. Completed four-year Electrician Apprenticeship school with Wayne J. Griffin Electric in 2022. Maxwell was a friend to many and a stranger to few. A beacon of light snuffed out too soon.
Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 8, 2023 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Memorial Service will be held 5 p.m. with burial at Shanghi Cemetery Quinton, AL. Saturday, Sep. 9, 2023 at 10 a.m.
