The festival’s annual golf cart parade will happen on Sunday. On Labor Day Monday the Sweet Tater Festival Car Show will take place from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. There will be a $15 registration fee for anyone who wants to enter the car show. According to Cullman County Parks and Recreation Director Doug Davenport, he expects about 200-250 cars to be in attendance at the show.

“This year might be our biggest year yet,” shared Davenport. “We have a record number of vendors who have signed up.”

Cullman County Commission Chairman Jeff Clemons said he is very excited about all the people who will be coming out to the park. “We really enjoy people coming out and using our parks,” Clemons said. “I want everyone to come out and get a sweet potato pie!”

While the food vendor signups are closed due to the high volume of applications, arts and crafts vendors can still sign up until the day of the festival.
