Funeral Service for Scharlene Mabrey, age 78, of Baileyton, will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Michael Lackey and Kenneth Puttman officiating; interment in Welcome Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mabrey passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023, at Cullman Health Care Center. She was born Dec. 31, 1944, in Cullman, Alabama, to James R. Waldrop and Nora Waldrop.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Mabrey, and her parents.
Survivors include her sisters, Betty (Bob) Schlink and Myra (Mark) Bland; brother, James T. Waldrop; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and one great-great-nephew.
