Mr. William Ray Wooten, age 92, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023.
William was preceded in death by his wife Avolee Dunn Wooten; his son William Craig Wooten; his parents John and Vinnie Wooten; his sister Bertie W. Kohlenberg; his sister Hazel W. Gantt; his brother Felton Wooten; his brother Porter Wooten; his brother Denver Wooten; his brother Major Wooten; his brother Earl Wooten; his brother Wayne Wooten; his sister Gladys Rogers and his brother Jack Wooten; his grandson William Todd Wooten.
William is survived by his nephew Thomas Kohlenberg, his nephew Jimmy Felton Wooten, his niece Ann Harbison, his niece Marilyn Gamble, his niece Jayne Barnett, his nephew Ronald Wooten, his niece Carolyn Brown, his niece Debra Overton, his niece Regina Malloch, his nephew Johnny Wooten, his niece Robin Pruett, his niece Charity Story, his nephew Kenneth Rogers, his niece Janet Lovelady; his sister-in-law Lolas Wooten and his special friends CJ and Cassandra Rubin.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Aug. 14, 2023 from 10 a.m. until the celebration of Uncle Bill’s life which will begin at 11 a.m. at Arley Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
