Betty Lou Pendley, 77, of Hartselle, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023, at her residence.
She was born April 27, 1946, in Dearborn Michigan. Betty loved to read and loved spending time with her grandkids. She taught elementary school for 19 years in Winston County.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, from 11 a.m. until 12 a.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 12 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville where a burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Dr. Ron Horton and Brother Lynn Harvell will officiate.
Betty is survived by her husband, Roger Pendley; sons, Steve (Kim) Pendley, and Byron (Karen) Pendley; grandchildren, Kayla (Jamie) Madison, Chase (Mallori) Pendley, and Trey, Ty, Abbey, Alex, and Emma Pendley; great grandchildren, Dalton, Aubrey, Cylah, and Cooper; and sister, Rose (Royce) Porter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Viola Glover; and brother, Ralph Glover.
