CULLMAN, Ala. – Mya, an approximately 4-year-old female Labrador mix with an ebony coat and a freckle on her tongue is available for adoption at Cullman County Animal Shelter.

Mya was named after a sweet young visitor of the shelter and embodies a spirit of youthfulness. She is talented and takes direction quickly on her leash, and thrives with exercise and outdoor recreation. Mya doesn’t seem to mind other dogs; in fact, she hardly notices her shelter companions on her way to the recreation area!

While Mya is currently a bit slenderer than most pups featured in the past, the shelter is working diligently on a robust feeding schedule to help Mya gain weight, and is expected to hit the typical weight of a Labrador mix.

Ready to hit the ground running with Mya? Head over to Cullman County Animal Shelter at 935 Convent Road NE, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for a meet and greet.

Her adoption fee includes spay, DHLPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccines, rabies vaccine, wormer, general exam at the vet and microchip.

Contact the Cullman County Animal Shelter at 256-734-5448 or cullmananimalshelter@co.cullman.al.us.
