CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Public Library is hosting various events throughout the month of July.
DIY Programs in July:
- Monday, July 10 – Create Your Own Comic Strip
- Thursday, July 13- Bad Art Day
- Monday, July 17 – Paper Bag STEM Challenge
- Thursday, July 20 – Chalk the Walk (Sidewalk Art)
- Monday, July 24 – Origami Art
- Thursday, July 27 – Shark Week Craft
From July 10-Aug. 4, the library will host its Buzzy Bee Social Media Hunt. Participants can pick up a Buzzy Bee cutout at the library (instructions will be included) and then take photos of Buzzy Bee around town.
On Thursday, July 13, at 3 p.m. the library will host 3Doodlers: 3-D Pens.
Jean’s Nifty Knitters takes place on Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m. and is open to everyone 7 and older. All levels of experience are welcomed and all materials are supplied.
On Friday, July 28, at 10 a.m. the library will celebrate Harry Potter’s birthday with crafts, games and treats.
Summer Movie at Art Park, hosted by Cullman Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism, will take place Friday, July 28, at 6 p.m. It’s a free event featuring the movie “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.” The movie will begin around sundown. Participants can arrive early at Art Park to join the library staff before the movie for crafts and fun.
