It is with profound sadness that the family of Jacqueline I. Quattlebaum announces her passing on July 6, 2023, at the age of 93 years.
Jackie was married to her loving husband, Ulen, for 75 years. She and Ulen raised two outstanding sons, Larry (Melody) and Terry. Her pride and joy were her grandsons and great-granddaughters. Jackie loved and cared for Christopher, Chad (Betsy), and Nathan (Janay). The great-granddaughters are Caroline, Ellie, and Sarah. There is one remaining sister, Gaynelle Marty.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Ulen, and her parents, William and Effie Powe; siblings, Ruby “Buddy”, Jeanette “Dettie”, Savola “BoBo”, Teddy, Walter, Dean, and Clarence.
A visitation/prayer service for the celebration of Jackie’s life will be held at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 1 p.m. with visitation from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the service.
Jackie will be missed and mourned by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Her family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff of Legacy Woods for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, plant a tree or grow a garden of flowers. Jackie would appreciate this above everything.
Pallbearers are Jackie’s nephews: Gary Quattlebaum, Perry Johnson, Tim Johnson, Keith Marty, Randy Powe, and Jacob Daniels.
