VINEMONT, Ala. — A car chase stemming from a robbery in a neighboring county came to a crashing halt just off I-65 and Hwy. 157 on Friday evening.
Sgt. Adam Clark, the Public Relations Officer of the Cullman Police Department, confirmed that Priceville officers were involved in the pursuit. However, the exact origins and circumstances of the chase remain unclear at this time. The crash occurred in close proximity to the Red Roof Inn.
“While we were able to detain the passenger, we are currently searching for the driver,” Sgt. Clark stated. “If you observe any suspicious activity, please contact 911.”
Sgt. Clark further added that the CPD will provide updates on the situation as more information becomes available.
