Brenda Renee Childers, 61, of Haleyville, passed away June 25, 2023 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
She was born Aug. 27, 1961 in Haleyville, Alabama. She loved sewing, arts and crafts, playing Pac Man, watching soap operas, and loved her three puppies. She also loved going out to eat and buying gifts for her kids and grandkids.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be at 2 p.m. Brother Royce Brimer will officiate. Burial will follow at Cherry Hill Church of God Cemetery.
Renee is survived by her life time partner, Gene Warren; daughter, Susan Childers (Andy Stone); sons, Rocky Childers (Laura Dotson), and Wyatt Childers; grandchildren, Shayla Ivey, Cody Cowens, Dustin Childers, Alexis Childers, Bella Childers, Austin Childers; step grandchildren, Dakota Carson, Savannah Brown, and Brandon Brown; siblings, Sharon West, and Ann Loveless; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Joyce Kelly; and grandson, Gavin Cowens.
