Paul “Dick” Richard Schaffner, Jr., age 88, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at his residence. He was born, Sep. 16, 1934 in Manhattan, New York to Paul Richard Schaffner, Sr. and Elizabeth Ann Sikorsky Schaffner.
Mr. Schaffner attened The Citadel in South Carolina and worked for Metropolitan Life and Sierra Health Services.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include hiswife of 44 years, Linda Head Schaffner; daughter, Kristin Ginetto; step-daughters, Paige Lain and Pamela Beckwith; sister, Ann Wise; nephews, Peter Wise and Jimmy Wise; nieces, Elizabeth Valerio and Vicki Burke.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
