CULLMAN, Ala. – Anne Freeman and Amanda Martin have joined forces to offer unique, affordable customized boutique pieces to Cullman at Hello Sunshine Boutique. Hello Sunshine Boutique offers children and adult clothing and customizable collectibles like sublimated shirts and tumblers, special drink syrups and more.
Martin shared that while Freeman had been selling customized items for years through booths and market sales, the idea for a joint brick-and-mortar venture came to them on a road trip to restock.
“On a car trip to Atlanta to get bows I shot the idea, and she said, ‘Well I haven’t found anywhere.’ Less than a week later we found this location!” Martin smiled.
Freeman and Martin have made it a point to keep their pieces accessible, noting that cost is sometimes a barrier to women having access to clothes that make them feel confident. Both children and adult clothing pieces at Hello Sunshine Boutique are around $15-$20 or less.
The boutique also notably carries a robust plus-size section with current designs, making trendy pieces not just accessible price-wise but size-wise as well.
“I know what it’s like to buy clothes and cry, so I tend to honestly have more curvy sizes than regular,” noted Freeman.
Hello Sunshine Boutique is located at 1724 Second Ave. SW Cullman, AL 35055. The boutique is open from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
