Thomas Dwight Bell, age 49, of Double Springs, passed away June 16, 2023 at UAB Hospital.
He was born Sep. 25, 1973 in Haleyville, Alabama. He graduated from Winston County High School in 1991. He always lived in Double Springs. He worked at Hendrix Health Care as the dietary manager. He loved and cared for his employees and co-workers. His lifelong passion was the food industry. Most of all he loved his children and family. He was kind hearted and made everyone laugh.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Joey Aldridge officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Thomas is survived by his daughter, Stormie Bell and fiancée Mason Garrison; son, Xander Bell; parents, Dwight and Doris Bell; siblings, Shannon Bell Gibson and husband James and Jodi Bell Daniel; nephews, Trey Daniel and wife Molly and Riley Rice; great nephew, Cooper Daniel; aunt, Susan Ward; and a host of friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Calvin Bell and Earline Bell Humphries and Carl and Lois Overton; aunt, Joyce Humphries; and uncle, Malcolm Ward.
