Funeral services for Kathryn June Watson of Hanceville will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2023 at Hanceville First Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service at Fairview West Cemetery. Visitation for the public will be on Monday at the church from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m.
Mrs. Watson was born on June 2, 1932 in Hanceville, Alabama to Herman Fanning and Annie A. Whaley-Fanning. She passed away on June 15, 2023 at her residence in Hanceville at the age of 91.
Survivors include her children, Angela (Donnie) Brock and Daniel L. Watson; grandchildren, Tonya Brock, Andrea Brock and Haley Watson; great grandchildren, Koal Duckett, Jake Duckett, Ella Duckett, Aurora Grace Watson, and Sebastian Rye Watson; and a sister, Norma Lee Greer.
Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Billy Fanning; and sister Jean Mayfield.
