Cullman man arrested for alleged assault, discharging firearm

CULLMAN, Ala. – A Cullman man was arrested by the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) on June 14 in connection with an incident earlier this month in which he allegedly threatened a victim during an argument and fired a weapon into a building.

Hisham Ibrahim, 55, faces charges of assault and menacing, as well as discharging a firearm into an occupied building, according to arrest warrants.

The incident reportedly started as a verbal disagreement between Ibrahim and the victim, but it escalated when Ibrahim allegedly threatened the victim with a weapon. He allegedly fired the weapon into a building from outside. No injuries were reported.

Ibrahim was taken into custody without incident. It’s unclear if he has obtained legal representation. Further details surrounding the incident and the relationship between Ibrahim and the victim have not been disclosed.
