CULLMAN, Ala. – A Vinemont man was killed in a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m. Friday, June 16. Alabama State Troopers identified the victim as Robert A. Chandler, 61.
Troopers said Chandler was fatally injured when the 1998 Honda Valkyrie motorcycle he was operating left the roadway and overturned. They said he was not wearing a helmet at the time of crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on County Road 1101 near County Road 1078, approximately 9 miles north of West Point, in Cullman County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
