Florene Barnett Day was born in Hanceville Alabama on Dec. 30, 1931 to Loys Alfred Barnett and Olger Lucille Hays Barnett. She passed away June 9, 2023.
She was preceded in death by Loys and Lucille, her daughter Elaine Day Duncan, loving husband Julious Elmer Day, brothers Joseph, Dale, Bobby, and Terry Barnett and sisters Judy Barnett and Louese McFarland.
She is survived by her son, Zane Kelly Day, three granddaughters, Julie Duncan, Jennifer Duncan, Addy Ball, three great-grandchildren, Ally Cole, Connor Cole, and Anna Holcomb as well as brothers Jack, Joe, and Eddie Barnett and her sister Betty Mirich.
