CULLMAN, Ala. – Les Dames of Cullman, a nonprofit focused on creating meaningful mentorship opportunities and bridging the feminine hygiene gap for women and girls in Cullman County, is back again with another great event.
To continue funding its mission, Les Dames is hosting a brunch cocktail showdown of legendary proportions on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Trident Marina. Businesses and individuals have registered to create the bubbliest and freshest mimosa or the savoriest bloody Mary, with the crowd deciding the ultimate winner.
The passion for the event came after Les Dames learned of a critical need among young women and girls in the Cullman school districts last year. There are hundreds of girls who don’t have access to the feminine hygiene products they need.
Les Dames is committed to not only providing girls with the products they need to feel clean and confident throughout the school year, but also through the summer. Boys weren’t left out, either, with hygiene bags prepared for them as well.
Tickets for the event are $25 and include samples of competing cocktails. Other drinks and brunch will be available for purchase.
