Danny Lovan Hood, age 71, of Brilliant, Ala., passed away Friday, June 9, 2023, at his residence.
Danny was born on May 2, 1952 in Albertville, Alabama.
Danny is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hood; son, David (Sandy) Hood; daughters, Kelly (Jason) Pollard and Dana (Chad) Barton; stepson, Donald Jackson; grandchildren, Ashley Hood, Amber Akers, Ryan Oden, Chasity Martin, Jada Cambell, Trinity Barton, Trevor Barton, and Tatum Barton; great grandchildren, Zayne Oden, Leo and Kap Oden, Kenzley Martin, Kasen Martin, Emma Grace, Hudson and Dawson Cambell, and Westley and Elizebeth Akers; sisters, Dianne Sizemore, Melissa Elliot, Renae Adair, and Lisa Hutcheson; and brothers, Dennis Hood, Ronald Hood, and Lavaughn Hood.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Hood; mother, Dorthy Bell Vickery; and brother, Truman (Pete) Lauderdale.
