Funeral service for Robert Allen Hooper, age 82, of Holly Pond, will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Kyle Hooper officiating; interment in Zion Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hooper passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at his residence. He was born March 9, 1941, in Cullman, Alabama, to Sam and Adell Hooper.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Janet (William) Snell; sisters, Ivalee (Buck) Arrington, Nell (Rayburn) Hyatt, Gertrude (Aaron) Bryan, and Ethal Hooper; and brothers, Talmadge (Reese) Hooper, Eugene (Virginia) Hooper, and P.T. Hooper.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Hooper; daughter, Vickie Hooper; son, Keith Hooper; grandchildren, Eric (Amber) Heald, Dallas (R.D.) Oshner, Brook (Colby) Glasscock, Riley (Ty) Sissom, and Raegan (Jesse) Day; great-grandchildren, Devyn Heald, Max Heald, Eli Simmons, Ella Oshner, Colton Glasscock, Cameron Glasscock, Rush Sissom, Morgan Sissom, Matthias Sissom, and Salem Day; sister, Sue Thompson; brothers, Dalton (Gail) Hooper and Larry Hooper; sister-in-law, Shirley Hooper; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
