Funeral services for Jimmy R. Coleman, 78, of Sterrett, Alabama will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Riverside Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery. Justin Blocker will officiate the service. Visitation for the public will be from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Thursday at Riverside Baptist Church.
Mr. Coleman was born on May 10, 1945 in Henry County, Alabama. He passed away at the age of 78 on May 28, 2023 at UAB Hospital in Jefferson County, Alabama.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Coleman; children, Ray Coleman, Jennifer Skates, Lannette Brasher and Jill Pittman; grandchildren, Gray Lackey, Ella Howell, Jenny Howell, Lilly Skates, and Leah Skates; sisters, Rosie Justice (Donnie) and Sue Dunlap (Ronald); and his brother, William Armstrong.
