A graveside funeral service for Claude Ferrell “Sandy” Sanders, of Bremen, Alabama will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Ryan’s Creek Baptist Cemetery. Rev Horace Swann and Rev. Tommy Graves will be officiating.
Mr. Sanders was born on April 28, 1939 to Claude O. and Bessie (Clifton) Sanders in Trussville, Alabama. He passed away at the age of 84 at his residence in Bremen, Alabama on April 30, 2023.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer (Matt) Schlosser; grandchildren, Brandon (Cindy) Parker, Jeremy (Kim) Calvert, Josh (Tiffany) Calvert, Brooklyn Schlosser and Mattilyn Schlosser; sister, Charlotte (Joe) Chandler; brother-in-law, Charles (Pat) Hancock; and a host of many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda Jean Hancock-Sanders; daughter, Kathy Sanders-Calvert; and siblings, Helen Kilgo, Gloria Jean Sanders, Billie Faye Harbison and Linda Swann.
