We regretfully announce the passing of Jeffrey Neil Hunter of Hanceville, Alabama. Jeff was born on July 10, 1967. He was 55 years young and passed away in his home in the early morning of April 28, 2023.
Jeff was a very loving and very loved man who was always there for anyone when they needed him. He was strong in his faith and fully devoted to our Lord and Savior. Jeff was blessed to have found his soulmate in this life and they had three beautiful children together. His family was everything to him. He enjoyed fishing and spent his Saturdays in the fall cheering for the Crimson Tide. He was a master of the grill and smoker. Even though he always claimed to overcook the food, we knew it was his way of getting compliments out of everyone when we would tell him how good it was. Jeff will be greatly missed on this Earth, but we have peace knowing he is with our Father in Heaven.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Hunter. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Teresa Hunter; his mother, Glenda Smith; his children: Cody (Erika) Hunter, Monica (Kenny) Watts, and Gabby Hunter; his grandchildren: Kenlee Bradford; Colton Hunter, Cru Green, Riley Watts, and Odin Hunter. His siblings: Chris (Jennifer) Hunter, Sherri (Wayne) Nall, Kim (Mark) Underwood; Cru Green, Riley Watts, and Odin Hunter. He also had a multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends that he cared for deeply.
