Reba Nell Chambers Sanderson, 85, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born April 5, 1938 in Cullman, Alabama to Archie and Ruby Chambers. A 1956 graduate of Fairview High School, she worked at St. Bernard College, Chemstrand, a bank in Mobile, Alabama and Mrs. Sharrott’s Kindergarten in Hartselle, Alabama.
Reba Nell was married to Ralph “Larry” Sanderson in 1961. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Ruby Chambers and her son, Corey Sanderson.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Sanderson; her daughter, Susan (Mike) Sherick; grandchildren, Matt (Kelly) Sherick, Sydney Sherick, Alece Sanderson, Taylor Sanderson, Emily Sanderson and her sister, Virginia Campbell.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Simcoe Methodist Cemetery in Simcoe, Alabama; conducted by Ed Robertson and Moss Service Funeral Home.
