Danny Steven Nekvasil, age 76, of Moulton, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born June 26, 1946, in St. Joseph, Michigan, to Frank and Kathryn Nekvasil.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Janet Hill and Judy Nekvasil; son-in-law, Cary Harrington; grandson, Dayne; and stepdad, Steve Lavenka.
Survivors include his daughters, Nancy (Cary) Harrington, Peggy Nekvasil, Diana (Tom) Fournier, and Kelly (Billy) Price; ten grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild due in October; sisters, Joy (Scott) Nekvasil and Joann (Fred) Reitz; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Danny was a jack-of-all-trades, but driving a truck and working in farming industry was where he spent most of his time. He was quite the fisherman, and he was blessed with a green thumb. His personality was unique and fun, and he will be greatly missed. Danny cooked what he grew, and no one made cabbage rolls like Danny. He deeply loved his family and had a personal relationship with the Lord. Danny loved animals and is now with his beloved Mugsy.
