WSCC Health Information Technology program information session April 26

HANCEVILLE, Ala. – Wallace State Community College announces the Health Information Technology program will host an information session Wednesday, April 26, at 9 a.m. Anyone interested in learning more about the programs is invited to attend the meeting in person in Room 208 of the Health Science building or virtually via Zoom.

The Health Information Technology program is an online program that offers several stackable certificates that students earn along their journeys to an applied associate degree, including Medical Scribe Certificate, Medical Coding Certificate and more.  The HIT program offers applied associate degree tracks including Revenue Cycle Management, Database Management and Health Informatics. 

The Health Information Technology program prepares students for careers that are in high demand, including many remote positions in which employees work from home.  

Applications to the Health Information Technology program are being accepted through June 1 for admission in the Fall 2023 semester.
