Funeral service for Hollie Mae Duke, 93, of Cullman will be at 12 noon, Monday, April 3, 2023 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Shedd Cemetery. Rev. Tim Box will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. prior to the funeral.

Mrs. Duke passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at her residence. She was born May 1, 1929 to Virgil Columbus and Emma Elizabeth Cook Wilbanks. She was a long time member of Valley Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Duke was a nurse. She had many friends and was well loved by everyone. She was very helpful to the community.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Argus N. Duke; son, David Duke; brothers, John Wesley Wilbanks, Walter Wilbanks; and a baby sister.
Survivors include her sons, Jimmie (Diana) Duke, Donald Duke; sister, Ellen Alvis; grandchildren, Samantha Duke, Douglas Duke, Sandy Michelle, Tyler Duke, Colby Duke, Hannah Duke, Amanda Duke; four great-grandchildren; special friend and caregiver, Nancy Quick; family and friends.
