VINEMONT, Ala. – Cullman County Coroner Jeremy Kilpatrick confirmed one fatality following a two-car collision in Vinemont.
According to Kilpatrick, Chessi Waddell, 47, of Vinemont was declared deceased on scene.
The two car collision occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 157 and CR 1246 in Vinemont. Kilpatrick stated the call came out at 5:53 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Two injuries were reported in the collision, with both being transported to area hospitals. Kilpatrick stated one person from each vehicle was transported.
At this time the names and ages of those taken to the hospital have not been released.
Kilpatrick stated Waddell was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
