The County Board of Education has moved into its newly remodeled building, which is one of the finest in the state.
Mrs. T.A. Smith had charge of the P.T.A. program on Tuesday. A book week program was given and Mrs. M.H. Killingsworth and Mrs. Henry Meyer gave a report from the recent P.T.A. meeting.

School opened on Monday. Mr. Chaney and Misses Winn and Speegle are the teachers.
Miss Clyde Crider has accepted a position as secretary in the office of Clarence Keller, register of equity in the courthouse.
Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Gunn left on Monday for Tampa, Florida, where Mr. Gunn has been transferred.
Miss Mozelle Nunnelly is teaching at Walter this year. She lives at Welcome.
Reverend Hunt of Holly Pond was Saturday guest of Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Nunnelly.
C.T. Bailey, County Agent, is urging farmers to plant long staple cotton, far a better price at the selling place.
Mr. W.A. Nail of Bolte has a new pair of mules.
There is going to be a box supper at Bolte on Friday night for the benefit of the school.
