Funeral service for Coleman Berl Harris, 82, of Vinemont, will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Larry Woods will officiate the service. The interment will be at Mt. Hope Baptist Cemetery. The visitation will be 12 p.m. until 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023, prior to the service.

Mr. Harris was born March 8, 1940, to Ervin & L E Thornton Harris. He passed away on Feb. 4, 2023, at UAB West. Coleman was a very beloved Father, Paw Paw, Brother, Uncle and friend to many. With a gentle spirit, a keen whit and an unwavering love for his family and Jesus, he touched many lives. He was a lifelong resident and business owner in Cullman, serving the community with the Better Hearing Centers for over 40 years in Cullman and other locations. Coleman worshiped at Ridgecrest Community Church in Vinemont. In his earlier years, Coleman excelled in basketball playing for Cold Springs High School and Walker Jr. College. He also proudly served his country in the United State Air Force and the Alabama Air National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin & L E Thornton Harris; sister, Ella Jean Marchman; his son, Raymond Mark Harris.
Mr. Harris is survived by his daughter, Karen (Steve) Gunnells; brothers, Kelton Harris, Dennis (Carol) Harris; grandchildren, Drake (Meagan) Harris, Grace Gunnells, Coleman Gunnells; great-grandchildren, Adalyn Harris, Aleigha Harris; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
PallBearer’s will be, Steve Gunnells, Coleman Gunnells, Dennis Harris, Jason Harris, Kelton Harris (honorary), Robert Colville, Mitchell Rice.
