Funeral services for Ms. Beulah Kathyrine Shannon Shedd of Hanceville, Alabama will be held at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023 at 11 a.m. with interment at Hopewell Cemetery, officiating will be Richard Roberts. Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Ms. Shedd passed away on Feb. 3, 2023, at the age of 81. She was a laborer. She was born on April 18, 1941 to Robert Shannon and Rachel Bales Shannon in Cullman County Alabama.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Ronnie Shedd, her daughters Debra Hicks and Linda Williams, sisters Rosie Shannon, Fannie Mae Skinner, Marie Purdy, and Alba Peppers, brothers Robert Enos “Buddy” and John Donald “Sonny” Shannon and great grand-daughter Ava Marie Williams. She is also preceded in death by the father of her children, Frankie J. Shedd.
She is loved, remembered, and survived by her son Danny (Betty) Shedd, daughters Tammy Newman, Kathy (Bruce) Wilson, Lois (Billy) Elliot, and son-in-law James Williams, grandchildren Jeremy Dale, Jamie (Michael) Rockwell, Jillian Dale, Amanda (Brian) Garmon, Maranda Roberson, Jessica Brown, Jason (Crystal) Williams, Megan Scott, and Leeann Wilson, 17 great-grandchildren, sisters Imogene Girard, Peggy Shikles, and Hazel Self and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
