Funeral service for Elizabeth Robinson, 80, of Nesmith will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Rev. Junior Garmon will officiate. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Elizabeth passed away Dec. 26, 2022, at Cullman Regional. She was born May 30, 1942, to Major and Bessie Boykin Rogers. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She loved her family and children and babysat for many children over the years. She loved animals and flowers. She worked for more than thirty years as a nursing assistant in the nursing home and after retiring, worked as a personal caregiver for others. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Harry, David, and Donald Rodgers; nephew, Isaac Rodgers.
Survivors include her daughter, Annette (Danny) Mays of New Mexico; grandson, Clarke Mays; brothers, Danny Rodgers, Rev. Steve Rodgers; sister, Brenda (Ben) Kerny; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
