The Funeral Service for Dorothy Emilee Duke Vickers, 91, of Riverside, California, will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Reverend Steve Rodgers will officiate the service. The interment will follow in the Oak Level Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. Vickers was born July 21, 1931, to Ellie Ray and Flora Mae Wright Jetton. She passed away on Nov. 24, 2022, at her residence in Riverside, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellie Ray and Flora Mae Wright Jetton; her husband of 39 years, Harvey Preston Duke; her daughter, Connie Cochran; grandson, Jason Gourdine; sisters, Inez Haynes and Faye O’Brian.
Mrs. Vickers is survived by her daughters, Linda (Anthony) Gourdine, Brenda Collins, Wanda (Robert) Earl, Dianne (David) Elethrop; stepsons, Andre and Tony; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
