Funeral service for Randy Dale Jones, 54, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022, at White Oak Baptist Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Adam Edmondson and Rev. Randall Edmondson will officiate. The body will lie in state at the church from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday. Visitation will be Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m.
Randy was born Jan. 16, 1968 and passed away Nov. 27, 2022. Randy taught school for 32 ½ years in Cullman County, starting at Jones Chapel Junior High School, then moving on to West Point High School for 26 ½ years. He coached basketball, football, and softball. He loved his family and his job and would tell anyone who asked him that he did.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elbert and Estelle Jones, Marvin Moore and Ola Moore Carden.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Regina Bagwell Jones; sons, Ryder & Ryland Jones; daughter, Ryleigh Jones; parents, Randall and Frances Jones; sister, Tamisha (Faron) Key; father and mother-in-law, Coy & Brenda Bagwell; brothers-in-law, Rodney (Sondra) Bagwell, Robin (Rhonda) Bagwell, Roger (Alicia) Bagwell; nieces and nephews, Kelsey Bagwell, Kenlee (Eric) Bagwell-Flanigan, Caiden (Lexi) Bagwell, Sarah Bagwell, Kayla (Blake) Harbin, Jake Bagwell, Karmyn (Tyler) Cartee, Kiah Key, Kohl Key; and a host of friends and former students.
