Stanley Malone Phillips Sr., 80, of Brushy Pond peaceful passed away on Friday, Nov. 18. He was born in Jefferson County to Oscar and Joy Phillips.
He was a proud Air Force veteran. He resided in Lake Charles, Louisiana and worked at the Lake Charles Medical Center, then returned home to work at Shelby Baptist Medical Center until retirement. He loved fishing, football and cooking.
He is survived by his wife, Lura Ann; son, Stanley (Darlene) Phillips Jr.; beloved nephews, nieces and two grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his parents and two sons, Steven and Brian. No service is planned at this time, but a celebration of his life will be planned for family and friends at a later date.
