Debra Faye Shedd, 63, of Haleyville, AL entered into rest on Nov. 12, 2022, at Lakeland Community Hospital in Haleyville.
Debra was born on June 29, 1959, in Haleyville, AL. She was a people person and loved everybody. She loved Elvis, gospel music especially old gospel, McDonalds and diet drinks, and her friends from ARC.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held on Nov. 16, 2022, at 11 a.m. Brother Sherman Kimbrough will officiate. Burial will follow in Lynn City Cemetery in Lynn, AL.
Debra is survived by her mother, Maxine Shedd; sister, Cynthia Shedd Downs; brother, Jimmy Shedd; the staff at Avalon Group Home; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elbert Shedd; grandparents Pete and Annie Elkins; and Phillip and Nora Jane Shedd.
