Charlene Clark Sibley, age 87 of Haleyville, AL, passed away Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, at her residence.
Charlene was born on Jan. 9, 1935, in Winston County, Alabama. She married Billy C.D. Sibley on July 3, 1953, and was married for more than 60 years. She loved her family, church (Union Grove Missionary Baptist), gardening, flowers, and getting visits from her grandkids.
A visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, from 12-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home – Haleyville, where the service will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Hillcrest City Cemetery. Brother Keith Hood will officiate.
Charlene is survived by her daughter, Renee Sibley Ward (Ronald Ward); sons, Randall Sibley (Lee Ann) and Greg Sibley (Cherie); sister, Lockcile Clark Elkins (Elbert); brother, J.D. Clark (Barbara); grandchildren, Kim Burleson (Barry), Brandy Crittenden (Jarrod), Tammy Dozier (Shane), Kevin Ward (Meagan), Trace Lawrence (Scott), Sarah McDonald, Scott Sibley, Justin Sibley (Jennifer), Ashley Clark, and Audrey Sibley; and great grandchildren, Briley and Parker Burleson, Alyson Crittenden, Karley and Brody Dozier, Kylee Freeman, Baylee, Noah, and Sam Ward, Siler Lawrence, Owen McDonald, Cassidy and Hillary Taylor, Christian Sibley, and Grayson Sibley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy C.D. Sibley; parents, David and Lora Willis Clark; sister, Maycene Tacket; and her brother, Lawson Clark.
