CULLMAN, Ala. – A husband and wife from Hayden, Alabama, known for their kindness and friendship, were killed Friday night, Sept. 30, in a motorcycle crash in Guntersville.

Terrell and Candace Glass, both 31, were members of the Saints Motorcycle Club (MC) in Birmingham.

Cullman Saints MC President Alex “Touché” Jones said he knew the couple for about a year, and they had been with the Birmingham MC for six months.

“They would ride together on their (Harley-Davidson) Street Glide on our rides,” Jones said. “Friday night, they had went to Guntersville to have dinner with one of our brothers. This is a tragedy. They were great people. They were completely selfless; they would give you the shirt off their back and be there to meet whatever need you had.”

Jones said the Cullman and Birmingham MCs do a lot of riding together.

“We rode a good bit,” he said. “They did the Miracle League ride that we host, and we attended several charity rides together. They’ve always had a bike. They loved it.”

Terrell and Candace Glass leave behind a 5-year-old daughter, Kristi Jane, and a 10-year-old son, Austin, as well as a large group of family and friends who love them.

“You could never be in a bad mood when you were around them. You always knew when Terrell was in the room—he was a jokester,” Jones said. “Candace was quiet but supportive and always laughed at Terrell’s jokes. You were happy when they were around. They were great parents and good people.”

According to the Marshall County Coroner’s Office, the crash happened at approximately 10:50 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, 2022, at the Stockton Causeway on U.S. Highway 431 in Guntersville.

A GoFundMe account has been set up for funeral expenses and a trust fund for the children. Access it at www.gofundme.com/f/funeral-cost-for-terrell-and-candace-glass.
