CULLMAN, Ala. – Sportsman Lake Park will host its fall yard sale Saturday, Sept. 17.
Site reservations will begin Tuesday, Sept. 6. Interested vendors who are vying for a top spot to sell their wares will need to appear in person at the park beginning at 7 a.m. The sellers will pick their preferred sport on the grassy areas, take the flag assigned to the spot and take it to the concession stand to pay and reserve the spot for the yard sale.
The pavilion sites are typically claimed quickly, so early arrival is strongly suggested. Interested parties should report directly to the concession stand (no flag needed) and pay for an available pavilion. The spots are first come, first served and sell out quickly.
The price for a pavilion site is $35 and the grass sites are only $10. The kiosk, stage and gazebo can be rented for $15.
Spots cannot be reserved over the phone. Prospective vendors must appear in person at Sportsman Lake Park to pay for their spots on Sept. 6.
On the day of the yard sale, gates will open at 7 a.m. with great deals available from vendors throughout the large park. The yard sale will close at 3 p.m. Admission to the park will be free. Sportsman Lake Park is located at 1544 Sportsman Lake Road NW in Cullman.
