CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office made several arrests over the holiday weekend, including:
Thursday, Sept. 1
Deputies arrived at a residence in the Vinemont area in an attempt to serve multiple outstanding warrants.
David Jerry Reynolds, 41, of Vinemont, was located at the scene and arrested on failure to appear warrants for traffic offenses (11 counts), unlawful distribution of dangerous drugs (2 counts), attempting to elude (5 counts), assault (2 counts), unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia (5 counts), drug trafficking, second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of dangerous drugs and writ of arrest.
Reynolds was also allegedly found to be in possession of paraphernalia and was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies responded to a report of a structure fire in the Gold Ridge community.
Anthony Ray Beasley, 50, of Cullman, was located at the scene where a brush fire had spread to a shed on his property.
Deputies determined that Beasley had multiple outstanding warrants.
He was arrested on failure to appear warrants for traffic violations (3 counts), negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument, unlawful possession of dangerous drugs (2 counts), unlawful distribution of dangerous drugs (3 counts), unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a forged instrument, larceny, receiving stolen property and escape.
Friday, Sept. 2
Deputies responded to the report of a burglary in progress in the Jones Chapel area.
The victim at the scene stated she and David Lee Horton, 61, of Cullman, had been in a prior relationship.
Earlier that evening, Horton allegedly forced entry into the residence, assaulted her, stole items and left in a stolen vehicle. Deputies and investigators located Horton a short time later and placed him under arrest.
Horton was charged with robbery, burglary and larceny. He was also arrested on warrants for identity theft and a traffic violation.
Sunday, Sept. 4
Deputies served a grand jury indictment warrant on Joseph Kevin Allen, 54, of Cullman.
Allen was indicted on charges of sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old, which stemmed from an incident that occurred last year.
