Betty Camp Flack, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on August 27, 2022, at the age of 80. She was born in Cullman County, Alabama, on November 7, 1941, to Lewis and Oma McGriff Camp.
Ms. Flack was a member of Lake Catoma Baptist Church. She was also the president of the Sportsman Lake Senior Center, as well as a lifetime member of the VFW Post 2214 Auxiliary. Betty enjoyed spending time with her many friends at both the Sportsman Lake Center as well as the Donald Green Senior Center in Cullman. Ms. Flack will be missed greatly by her family and many friends.
Ms. Flack is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Roy W. Flack; brother: John Trennon Camp; sisters: Patricia Creel, and Evelyn Patillo.
Those surviving Ms. Flack are children: Jeff Hill (Jacqueline) and Dr. Angela Elliott (Dean); grandchildren: Joshua Salter (Stefanie), Jared Salter (Amber), Adam Bryan (Amanda); great-grandchildren: Oakley Salter, Paisley Salter, Lucas Salter; brother-in-law: Dwayne Creel; and her beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Ms. Flack are 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2022, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel, Brother Bobby Crawford and Brother Burton Sampson officiating. Betty will lie in state from 10 a.m., until services begin. Burial will follow in New Hope #2 Cemetery. The family will receive guest on Tuesday evening, August 30, 2022, at the funeral home, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
