CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) made several arrests over the weekend in unrelated cases.
Thursday. Aug. 18
Investigators served a search warrant in the Valley Grove area.
Regina Banks Edwards, 54, of Cullman was located at the residence.
She was allegedly found to be in possession of narcotics and paraphernalia.
Edwards was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of heroin, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, duty upon striking an unattended vehicle (failure to appear warrant) and no tag (failure to appear warrant).

Deputies arrested Desiree Katlyn Wilhite, 24, of Falkville on an outstanding warrant for assault-child abuse.
The warrant stemmed from an incident earlier this month.

Deputies arrested Carrissa Dawn Smitherman, 46, of Cullman, on an outstanding warrant for permitting dogs to run at large.
The warrant stemmed from an incident that occurred earlier this year.
Friday, Aug. 19
Deputies recognized a vehicle from a BOLO (be on the lookout) alert from Morgan County and attempted to stop it.
The vehicle fled; ultimately the pursuit ended in the area of Terri Pines.
Bradford Seth Burney, 26, of Hanceville, was identified as the driver.
He was placed under arrest and charged with receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and attempting to elude.
Sunday, Aug. 21
Deputies conducted a traffic stop near an Interstate 65 rest stop.
William Christopher Trimble, 56, of Vinemont was a passenger in the vehicle.
Deputies determined that Trimble had outstanding warrants. A search of the vehicle and his person allegedly yielded narcotics and paraphernalia.
Trimble was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of marijuana (failure to appear warrant) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia (failure to appear warrant).
