HANCEVILLE, Ala. — In this interview, I talked to Hanceville Football manager Bryan Marquez. Bryan made a lot of great memories on and off the field at Hanceville and has some great news regarding his status as the manager of the Bulldogs.

“I had a blast with the Hanceville football team, and I love doing it. My first year as the manager was in 2019; that’s when I met two wonderful helpers in Promise Pitts and Halee Holloway. They were both great helpers. 2021 was supposed to be my final year as Hanceville’s manager, but now I’m super excited to announce that I will become an official member of the manager’s position and I plan to keep it that way. I am so happy to be joining Halee Holloway and we will work together. I want to say thank you to the Hanceville football team, to Halee Holloway and to head coach Ryan Brewer.”

He added,

“My favorite high school memories were making new friends, being kind to each other, and respecting each other. I also played football in 2020 as well.”

Hanceville High School will always hold a special place of Hanceville in Bryan’s heart, and he will deeply miss going to school there next year.

“They work together, and they are special to the students. I will miss every memory I made there. I will miss all of my teachers, two of the principals, and two of the assistant principals,” Marquez said.

Bryan learned quite a bit during his time at Hanceville and gave the students that will be starting high school soon some advice.

“I learned that you have to work together to make better grades and to not rush through things,” he said. “My advice to the upcoming students is to follow the rules and to not rush through things.”
