Charles Edward Mason, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on July 27, 2022, at the age of 70. Ed was born in Cullman County, Alabama, on January 20, 1952, to James Buford and Lena Mae Garmon Mason.
Ed served his country honorably in United States Army. He enjoyed attending New Georgia Baptist Church where he worshipped with his friends and neighbors. Mr. Mason loved his dogs, and he enjoyed spending time with his friends. Ed enjoyed life and he adored his family and the time spent with them. He was a loving man, and he will be missed by many people.
Mr. Mason is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his son: Brandon Mason; daughter: Shannon Mason Higginbotham (Robert); sisters: Alice Faye Moore (Eddie), Kathleen Mason; grandchildren: Alan Wingo, Cody Wingo, Jacob Wingo, Brandon Mason, Tristan Mason, Alexis Mason, Brooke Mason, Traysha Valentine (Jacob), and fifteen great-grandchildren.
