Estelle Rowe, age 83 of Hanceville, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022, at her home. Estelle was born on April 8, 1939, in Cullman, Alabama to Valentine Leipert Sr. and Theresa Chandler Leipert.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Evon Rowe; parents: Valentine Sr. and Theresa Leipert; son in law: Wade Holmes; brothers: Ervin, Joe, Alvie, Asple, Eugene, James and Valentine Jr. Leipert; sisters: Irma Chasteen and Odell Bice; sister-in-law: Winnie Atkins; brother-in-law, George Benny Rowe. She is survived by her children: Carrlon Holmes, Randall (Maria) Rowe and Melissa (Steve) Harrison-Atchley; nine grandchildren: Brian (Hester) Pagan, Kipp (Angela) Harrison, Courtney Lynn, Camden (Katie) Holmes, Elizabeth (Brandon) Robinson, Caleb (Kayla) Holmes, Ben (Tori) Pagan and Andrea (Phillip) Hall; 14 great grandchildren, Haley, Cody, Jackson “Jack”, Karli Jo, Brantley, Coty, Jaxtson “Jax,” Addi June, Rori, Corah Greyson “Grey,” Kenadi and Atticus; sisters-in-law: Sue Reynolds and Betty Leipert; brother-in-law: Jerry (Bobbi) Rowe; a host of nieces, nephews and church family.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 11:00 AM from the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Junior Wolfe and Brother Wayne Wisener officiating. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Kipp Harrison, Camden Holmes, Caleb Holmes, Brandon Robinson, Phillip Hall, Neal Boren, Rick Leipert and Darrell Leipert.
