Ellie Casey Brasfield, affectionately known to most as “Ellie B.” passed away while she was resting surrounded by family in the comfort of her log cabin, she proudly designed herself.
Ellie is survived by her much-loved son: Craig Brasfield and his wife: Janet Austin; sister: Etheleen Casey Thomas; brothers: George Horace Casey, Wade Douglas (Catherine) Casey and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Arta and Buck Casey; and a younger sister: Donna Renee Casey. This world lost a gentle and loving heart.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, July 16th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation for the public will be from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service on Saturday. She will be interred at Hopewell Cemetery with her mother and father at a later date.
